If you become ill or are in pain, you can easily and quickly receive help from your PensionDanmark health scheme.
You can visit a physiotherapist or alternative kind of therapist free of charge. And if you are off work, you can quickly book an appointment with a specialist to establish the cause of your ill health.
Are you suffering muscle or joint pain?
Use your healthcare scheme to overcome pain and injuries.
Clinics all over Denmark are gradually beginning to offer physical treatments again. You may therefore be able to book a treatment with a physiotherapist or a chiropractor.
You don’t need a referral from your doctor and you don’t have to pay anything.
Help with receiving a diagnosis
Sometimes you have to wait a long time to see a specialist or receive a scan. But with the PensionDanmark health scheme, the waiting time is reduced and you will receive treatment more rapidly.
We call this Prompt Diagnosis.
On sick leave
Frequently sick or chronically ill
Our nurses and social workers can advise you on the appropriate treatment.
You can also receive assistance regarding the free choice of hospital, waiting times and treatment guarantees, and what they mean for you.
If you are diagnosed with a critical illness
Your critical illness insurance policy will provide you with a tax-free sum if you are diagnosed with one of the illnesses included in the insurance policy. This can be for example cancer, thrombosis or sclerosis.
Help from a psychologist
Do you have stress or other problems?
If you have psychological problems, you can always call and talk with a psychologist.
These problems could involve your job or home life.
Benefit more from your health scheme
With PensionDanmark's health test, you can find out in a few minutes whether you can use your health scheme to put an end to any health problems you have. Simply answer a few questions about yourself and your daily habits. Your answers are anonymous, of course.
Based on your answers, you will receive free help from your health scheme.
This could include e.g. treatment from a physiotherapist or chiropractor. Or a talk with a nurse who can help you with advice on health and illness.
