Quick Diagnosis for Children

Yes, in most cases your child needs a referral before we can help you further.

Your child can use Quick Diagnosis if they are referred to:

• a specialist, e.g. a dermatologist, an orthopaedic surgeon, a rheumatologist, or a psychiatrist
• other examinations, e.g. a scan, an X-ray or an ultrasound. 

Children and young people must give their own consent to treatment when they turn 15. At that time, you as a parent automatically lose access to the child’s digital health data on sundhed.dk. 

Therefore, it is the child who must give consent to examinations and treatment in the Health Scheme when the child turns 15. 

Only if the child gives consent can parents get access to the child’s health information.
