Thematic Equity Funds

The funds invest with a focus on selected themes such as the green transition and geopolitical security. These themes are more targeted than those typically found in broad global equity funds, and the funds usually hold fewer stocks as well.

Balanced pools

Investments are made broadly across many asset classes, including shares, bonds, real estate, and alternative investments. The balanced pools are invested similarly to PensionDanmark's age-based pools, but they do not include a reduction in risk as one ages, as is the case with our general market interest product.

Global shares

Global share funds invest in a portfolio of listed shares issued by large and medium-sized companies worldwide. The majority of the funds focus on shares listed on the North American, European and Japanese stock exchanges. Selected funds have a regional focus in which investments are primarily made in companies listed on the stock exchange, domiciled or with the majority of their business in this region.

High-yield bonds

High-yield bonds offer a higher interest rate than Danish government and covered bonds, but are also associated with a higher risk. Funds may be selected that invest in bonds issued by companies with limited credit rating and funds that invest in bonds issued by emerging market countries such as Brazil, Mexico and South Africa.

Bonds

Investments are primarily made in Danish government and mortgage bonds. Mortgage bonds are the same bonds that finance mortage loans for homeowners. The funds have different levels of sensitivity to how the returns are affected by changes in interest rates.
