However, you can apply again if you have an illness from another group. You can apply six months after your initial diagnosis at the earliest.

We will send you a letter in mit.dk once we have processed your application.

If you are entitled to a payout from your insurance, we will pay it into your Nemkonto.

There is usually no deadline for when you must apply for payouts. Even if several years have passed since you became ill, you can still apply for a lump sum. Of course, this requires that you had the insurance when you were diagnosed.

The only exception is if you die before we receive your application. In this case, it has arrived too late and therefore your relatives cannot receive payouts.

Contact your bank if money is to be paid into a creditor-protected account. Your bank will decide whether you can open this account.

When your creditor-protected account has been created, you must contact us via our website and and provide your new account details - before applying for payment. We will send you a link via SMS so that you can log in to pension.dk and approve the account information with a digital signature
