You can use Online Physiotherapy for most of the same things that you would see a physiotherapist at a clinic for.
We do not recommend using Online Physiotherapy if:
If one of these applies to you, you should see a physiotherapist at a clinic.
The physiotherapist will ask you about your pain and how it started. Using your camera, you can explain and show how and where it hurts.
The physiotherapist will help you with exercises that will be beneficial for you. You will do them together, so you know exactly what to do once you are on your own.
You will also get an exercise plan in the app, so you can always see the exercises and how often you need to do them.
You can change or cancel your appointment under 'Your appointments'. You can also call the clinic where you booked an appointment.
Please be aware of the clinic’s cancellation policy.
If you are in doubt about the type of treatment you need, book an appointment with a physiotherapist.
You will be examined thoroughly during your first treatment, and together with your therapist you will make a further treatment plan. Part of your treatment will be in the form of exercises so that you can stay active and pain-free in the future.
You do not need to pay from your own pocket when you go to a physiotherapist or chiropractor for treatment. Your health scheme covers the expenses.
However, it is important that you book your first appointment through us.
You can use the health scheme if you are pregnant. You can also use it if your pain or injury is due to your pregnancy.
