You pay every month for the insurance you have. You can see your insurance costs when you log in to your annual overview.
According to Danish tax rules, you must pay tax on the value of your insurance. The Danish Tax Agency calculates your tax based on the information we report and your individual tax rate.
This means your insurance costs include both the actual price of the insurance and the tax calculated by the Danish Tax Agency.
If you do not pay into your pension with us, you may be required to pay a tax of up to 60% on some of your insurance costs. However, you will not pay the regular insurance tax during periods without contributions.
If you have stopped paying into your pension with us because you have a new job with new insurance, you should consider stopping your insurance with us.
